Jay Z's New Venture Through Roc Nation Will Benefit Startups
Jay Z created something resourceful for new promising startups through his latest venture.
Jay Z steps into a new role with the launch of Arrive, a division of Roc Nation that will focus on lending support to burgeoning startups, reports Rolling Stone.
Arrive is composed of a partnership with Roc Nation, GlassBridge Asset Management and Primary Venture Partners, and promises a platform that will provide, "brand services, business development, advisory and capital to drive growth in their organizations," a statement reads.
"What Roc Nation has built so far is a true testament to their vision, capabilities and willingness to dig in and take their companies to the next level," said Ben Sun, Primary Venture Partners co-founder. "We are thrilled to partner with the amazing team at Arrive and to leverage these unique resources to build the next generation of powerful brands."
Mr. Carter created a stellar business portfolio based on talent management with Roc Nation, Roc Nation Latino and Roc Nation Sports. By lending a helping hand to new business developers, his vision will reach new heights.
"Arrive was created to leverage our experience and resources in building brands, developing consumer-facing businesses, managing artists and representing athletes," said Neil Sirni, Roc Nation’s leader of new ventures. "We've opened that diversified, global range of expertise to a new vertical: entrepreneurs and their early stage businesses."
Reportedly, in addition to Arrive, Roc Nation will also place an emphasis on financing socially conscious investments—yet it's still unclear which companies Arrive will back.
