Plow Driver Uncovers Murdered Teen’s Body While Clearing Snow
While clearing up the aftermath of Winter Storm Stella on Wednesday (Mar. 16), a snow plow operator discovered the body of Trevon Dickens in East Flatbush, Brookyln, outside of a playground.
The plow driver discovered Dickens’ lifeless body around 6:15 p.m. on E. 91st St. by Ave. B. The 19-year-old had been shot in the head once and in the body twice.
“At first I thought he got hit by the plow but then I realized he’d been shot. He was lying face-up in the middle of the street,” Jermaine Colthirst, a bus driver who watched the police investigate, told the New York Daily News.
According to eyewitness reports, Dickens was seen talking to two men before the shooting took place. An investigation is still ongoing.
