‘Atlanta’ Actress Zazie Beetz To Star In ‘Deadpool’ Sequel
German actress Zazie Beetz, known for playing Vanessa “Van” Keefer on the hit FX show Atlanta, will star as mutant superhero Domino in the highly-anticipated sequel to the Marvel film, Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds, who plays the film’s titular character, spilled the beans on his Twitter account last night, where he posted a picture of Beetz’s name spelled out in black dominos with the caption “The Domino Effect” (*chuckles*).

According to Variety, Domino is a mutant with telekenetic powers, who is a member of the “mercenary group Six Pack and later X-Force.” This is the first time that the character, who was first introduced in the comics in 1992, will appear in film.
Beetz, who plays the mother of Donald Glover’s child in Atlanta, will also star in the film Slice with Chance The Rapper later this year.
The tentative release date for Deadpool 2 is Mar. 2, 2018.
