Jay Z Combats "Exploitative" Bail Bond Industry By Bailing Out Men For Father's Day

"We can't fix our broken criminal justice system until we take on the exploitative bail industry,” Hov writes.

Today (June 16), TIME published an op-ed penned by rapper Jay Z in which he details how he plans to use a Father's Day gesture to make a statement about America's bail bond industry.

"If you're from neighborhoods like the Brooklyn one I grew up in, if you're unable to afford a private attorney, then you can be disappeared into our jail system simply because you can't afford bail," Hov writes.

He goes on to reference the tragedies of Kalief Browder and Sandra Bland as examples of how the inability to afford bail can potentially put innocent people in dangerous situations.

In an effort to unearth some beauty in a dark place, the Magna Carta Holy Grail artist announced that he will be partnering with Southerners on New Ground and Color of Change "to bail out fathers who can't afford the due process our democracy promises," and give them some time with their families for Father's Day.

Kenan Thompson Says Kel Mitchell Will Appear In Revamped 'All That' Series

Pretty much everyone who was a fan of 90s Nickelodeon staple All That was thrilled to hear Kenan Thompson's role of executive producer in the revamped series. Now more great news has arrived as the comedian shared that Kel Michell will also return to the sketch comedy show.

Speaking with Page Six at the Writers Guild Awards Sunday (Feb. 16), Thompson shared his hopes to bridge the gap between the original cast and new members.

“Whoever’s down to [come to] do it, we would love to have them in my opinion,” Thompson said. “I know Kel [Mitchell’s] coming back, and I remember working close [sic] with Josh Server as well. I think all the old cast members should come support the new cast members. That’s just how it should go.”

Before their spinoff Kenan and Kel, the two were golden on All That with skits joint skits like Good Burger and solo characters Pierre Escargot and Repairman.

So far, things seemed to be going Thompson's way. Former All That alum  Danny Tamberelli also told Page Six he was thrilled to hear about the revival.

“I think it’s awesome!” Tamberelli said."All That was a show that reached out to so many kids from all different backgrounds and brought them all together through laughter.”

Tamberelli was apart of seasons four through six and was also one of the main character's on Nick's other enjoyable series, Pete and Pete.

Vandal Decapitates Diddy's Statue At Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Diddy's Madame Tussauds wax statue was vandalized over the weekend, leaving everyone wondering why.

The New York Daily News reports the strange incident took place just before 9pm on Saturday (Feb. 16), when an unnamed suspect arrived at the Times Square location. The vandal then headed to the A-List Party Room section of the museum where the wax statue stood and knocked it the ground. The force was reportedly so hard, the statue's head fell off.

“An unidentified male pushed it to the ground causing the head to be decapitated from the body,” a New York Police spokesman said. The perpetrator was described as a man in a black hooded jacket with blue jeans.

According to NBC New York, before knocking down fake Diddy, he yelled at the music mogul's statue and stomped on the head, fleeing the scene shortly after. There are currently no suspects in custody nor are there any clear motives linking the act of aggression to the 49-year-old.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Madame Tussauds New York says their artists will fix the damage "as quickly as possible" to get the figure back to the museum’s A-List Party Room.

Combs originally attended the statues reveal in 2009 when it debuted in New York City.

Rico Nasty Teams Up With Zack Fox To Release Meme Filled Video For "Sandy"

Rico Nasty might not appear in her new video, but the memes will make you stay anyway.

Over the weekend, the rapper and rage connoisseur dropped a music video her new track "Sandy." Directed by comedian Zack Fox, the Kenny Beats produced tune brings out the best in Rico as she enjoys her warranted glow-up while comparing her lifted moments to Spongebob Squarepants' other bestie, Sandy Cheeks. “Smoking out the bowl like a b***h named Sandy / I’m original that’s why the b***hes can’t stand me.”

Her chemistry with Kenny Beats has always been strong (listen to "Trust Issues), but Zack's varied selection of memes will take you back to the days of lurking on Failblog before memes were a popular Internet snack.

In addition to releasing tracks like “Big D**k Energy,” and “Roof,” the Brooklyn native dropped Countin Up, a documentary powered by The Fader to highlight her journey in the music industry and motherhood.

Check out the "Sandy" video up top and the Countin Up documentary below.
