Trae Tha Truth Assembles A Monstrous Cast Of Lyricists On “I’m On 3.0”

Listen up folks, if you’re a bonafide Trae The Truth fan, then you should be familiar with his star-studded “I’m On” series.

Featured on his most hailed projects Street King and Tha Blackprint, the magnitude of features are always epic considering that the original and “I’m On 2.0” included Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T., Big Boi, J. Cole, Jadakiss, and so much more. After five years, he continues the epic series by giving us the mesmerizing “I’m On 3.0” from his forthcoming album, Tha Truth pt 3.

The list not only continues the H-Town legend’s trend of uniting this era’s top lyricists, newcomers and legends alike, but he also brought along unexpected surprises. Trae called on T.I., Dave East, Tee Grizzley, Royce Da 5’9, Rick Ross, Curren$y, Styles P, D.R.A.M, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Chamillionaire, G-Eazy, E-40, Mark Morrison, and Gary Clark Jr. The legendary Mark Morrison sets the pace with vocals from his 90s hit, “Return of the Mack.”

In an interview with Billboard, the “Swang” rapper opened more about the “I’m On” series.

“Everyone is familiar with my ‘I’m On’ series at this point,” said Trae. “Each version is full of all-stars. We’re the A-Team — the Avengers of hip-hop. Gary Clark Jr. brings a lot more to the table. Him on a track like this has never been done. We’ve got a lot of history.”

Trae The Truth’s new album Tha Truth Pt.3 will be available on July 21.
