LaVar Ball And Ice Cube Face-Off In A Four-Point Basketball Challenge


Although his opponent was not Michael Jordan, LaVar Ball managed to go up against Ice Cube for an exhibition game that’s made its rounds across the net.

According to Sports Illustrated, Ball and the Big3 organizer put on a four-point challenge during one of the league’s games in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sunday (Aug. 13). The site notes that the deal was made in May where if Cube lost the four-point challenge, he would have to purchase 10 pairs of Ball’s Big Baller Brand shoes. In the end, Cube didn’t make the enthusiastic father of three any richer.

At the top of this article Michael Jordan was mentioned. That’s because Ball previously called out MJ to play him one-on-one to see who is the greatest. During a camp, Jordan responded to Ball’s request with an unabashed statement.

“You got to understand the source,” Jordan said. “I think he played college, maybe? He averaged 2.2 points a game…I don’t think he could beat me if I was one-legged.”
