Usher Reportedly Doesn't Have Herpes, Plans To Take Legal Action Against Accusers

The singer's alleged payment to his STD accuser were apparently for other reasons.

The tables have continued to turn in the ongoing case against Usher and his health status. New information has reportedly come to light clearing the singer of exposing an STD to the accusers.

Sandra Rose reports a close member of the singer's camp dispelled claims the singer paid his former babysitter and celebrity stylist Maya Fox-Davis $1.1 million in the case brought to light by Radar Online. The source added the court documents shown are the site aren't facts, but mere accusations that weren't proven to be true in court. The site also adds the image of the $2,754-check made out to Fox-Davis was from accounting firm David Weise & Associates for her babysitting services in 2012.

The source continued to question the authenticity of the documents which haven't been shared, just referenced by any other news or gossip site–including TMZ. The singer has kept quiet on all the claims because he has his own plan to launch a defamation case against the accusers and their legal representation.

It isn't known if the defamation suit would apply to the later accusers. On Monday (Aug. 8), former Usher fan Quantasia Sharpton held a press conference with lawyer Lisa Bloom, claiming she was exposed to herpes after having sex with the singer after meeting at his concert.

Sharpton, admitted she tested negative for the STD while Bloom agreed she didn't know for sure if the singer had the disease. On Tuesday (Aug. 8) social posts from Sharpton showed her discussing her financial situation, explaining that she "needed money." “Enjoying [her] last couple of hours as a regular girl," she posted under the alias Angel Valentino on Facebook, just hours before her press conference with Bloom.

Take a look at the court documents in question, here.

Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" Ties Record For Longest-Running Number One Of All Time

For the 16th week in a row, Lil Nas X’s hit “Old Town Road” sits atop the Billboard Hot 100. This means that the track from the 20-year-old ATLien is tied for the longest-running No. 1 of all time.

According to reports, the single from the 7 EP ties Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s ”Despacito," as well as Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day” for the record. If he stays at No. 1 for one more week, he will be the first song in the history of American popular music to reign for an unprecedented 17 weeks.

The initial song made waves  earlier this year after getting the boot from Billboard’s Country charts for allegedly not implementing enough elements of the genre. Since then, “Old Town Road” has seen three featured artists on two separate remixes– Billy Ray Cyrus, Young Thug and Mason Ramsey. Last week, country music icon Dolly Parton hinted at hopping on the song’s next remix.

Do you think “Old Town Road” will set a new record next week? Sound off in the comments.

Tom Hanks Brings Mr. Rogers To Life In 'A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood' Trailer

Wearing the trademark red sweater, silver-gray hair along with what seems like a permanent smile plastered to his face, Tom Hanks fully steps into the role of the beloved television icon Mr. Rogers.

In the trailer for the forthcoming film A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood, Rogers meets cynical journalist Lloyd Vogel (Matthew Rhys) who's been tasked with profiling Rogers for his publication's hero issue. Yet viewers can see from the onset Vogel isn't convinced Rogers is fitting for the title.

“Please don’t ruin my childhood," This Is Us actress Susan Kelachi-Watson who plays Vogel's wife says to him.

While the trailer doesn't give too much away, as Vogel digs deeper into his profile of Rogers he begins to unearth his own unchecked demons.  "You love broken people, like me," Vogel says to Rogers.

Slated for a November 22nd release, Mr. Rogers' fans can relive once again the magic that made him who he is, while new fans can potentially discover the magic.
