Jeezy Welcomes The Fall Season With “Bottles Up” (Feat. Puff Daddy) & “Cold Summer” (Feat. Tee Grizzley)
Despite some features here and there, Jeezy has been pretty quiet on the music front after releasing 2016’s Trap or Die 3. However as the weather cools down, he gives the streets a two-piece release. He recently gifted fans with new songs “Bottles Up” featuring Puff Daddy and “Cold Summer” featuring Tee Grizzley.
On “Bottles Up”, Jeezy unleashes a red-hot club banger where Diddy goes back into Puff Daddy mode and goes crazy, boasting about gold bottles and money showers. The explosive production also samples Three 6 Mafia’s groundbreaking single, “Tear Da Club Up ‘97.” Coincidentally, (or maybe not), this song comes 20 years after the release of the song and the group’s album, Chpt 2: World Domination.
From there, we see Jeezy leave out of the back of the club and head straight for the gritty streets of Detroit alongside the D-Town phenom, Tee Grizzley on “Cold Summer.” The collabo is exactly what fans of both artists should expect as the two-trade heavy-handed, rugged verses over sinister, piano-led production. The song samples Tupac’s posthumous hood classic, “Street Fame.”
