‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Is Coming February 2018

Atlanta fans don’t like being teased, but Donald Glover’s co-star Lakeith Stanfield just can’t help himself. Season 2, or “Robbin Season,” of the award-winning series will head to the small screen at the top of 2018.

Over the weekend, the Crown Heights star posted to Instagram the cast and writers of Atlanta, paired with an ever-changing caption about the series’ return. Ultimately, insiders were able to pin the exact return to the month of February.

Stanfield posted pictures of the cast in faux fraternity jackets on both Instagram and Twitter, captioning #comingsoon.

“Robbin Season” could mean a number of themes for the cast. On Friday (Dec. 8), Glover posted faux $20 of Harriet Tubman on Twitter. It was ultimately deleted, but later became his cover photo.

The series was beloved right out the gate, with it’s perspective of the hungry, gifted and black as well as creative episodes like “B.A.N.” The series also earned critical praise and several Emmys and Golden Globes for Glover’s acting and directing.
