Cardi B To Drop "Bartier Carti" With 21 Savage In 48 Hours

We're ready.

Cardi B's official follow up to her chart-topping single "Bodak Yellow" will arrive to our ears on Friday (Dec. 22).

The track with 21 Savage, was originally set to release last week and also includes a subtle title change from "Cartier Cardi" to "Bartier Cardi." The Bronx-bred Bardi revealed the new release date for the single by dropping the track’s cover art via social media.

She also played a snippet of the track shortly after her performance at Houston's Day for Night Festival over the weekend.

The track follows up a year full of breakout guest verses on tracks like  “MotorSport,” “No Limit,” and the recently released “Um Yea” featuring fiancé Offset. With “Bodak Yellow” peaking as the number one song in the county, one would assume that the track would be a tough act to follow. Yet, in her short career, Cardi has already poised herself as one of the more consistent newcomers in the game.

Through her various verses, Billboard announced that the 25-year-old is the only female rapper to ever have their first three entries break the publication’s Top 10 charts.

Her popularity could be contributed to her infectious personality and persistent work ethic, leaving high expectations for her new track. However, if her lyrical growth and/or likable charisma get a chance to shine, it is safe to say that Cardi B could quite possibly have another hit on her hands when “Bartier Cardi” drops.

Let Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, He's The Hottest Rapper In The Game Right Now

TMZ caught Soulja Boy out and about on Thursday (Jan. 17) in New York City, where the viral celebrity discusses how he's the hottest MC in hip-hop today, and continues to take shots at some of his contemporaries.

"I’m the hottest rapper in the game, bro," The "Crank Dat" musician says. "Kanye West talking about ‘he Walt Disney’… you ain’t sh*t… I made a million dollars in a week." Of course, this is in reference to the video game console that bares his name.

He continues by discussing that the grind never stops for him, and if it wasn't for his influence, the Internet boom, streaming and more probably wouldn't be as prolific.

"This is natural hustle man, I’m the reason music is digital right now," he continues. He also says that his recent headline-making comments aren't marketing, but the real deal.

"Are you serious? This is real life, real sh*t," he queries. "This not no marketing, bro. I kept it real. I told people I had the biggest comeback of 2018, and n***as wanna talk about Tyga." He concludes by saying that he's thrilled that Travis Scott is not only performing at the Super Bowl, but also that he "took Tyga's b***h" Kylie Jenner.

Morgan Freeman's step-granddaughter, E'Dena Hines is finally getting justice. Lamar Davenport, the man who killed Hines in 2015, has reportedly been sentenced to 20 years in prison, the Manhattan D.A. Cyrus R. Vance Jr. confirms.

Davenport's sentencing was mandated on Thursday (Jan. 17). He was convicted of manslaughter in May 2018. Davenport was acquitted of second-degree murder after his lawyer argued that he was high on PCP at the time of the murder. A judge ultimately found him guilty of first-degree manslaughter however.

After he's released from prison, Davenport will reportedly be placed under post-release supervision for five years.
