Jim Jones’ Mother’s House Burns Down In Christmas Fire

Jim Jones is reflecting on his blessings following a Christmas Day fire at his mother’s house. Jones posted a video from the aftermath of the blaze on Instagram on Monday (Dec. 25), with firefighters still at the home, located in Englewood, N.J.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire, but Jones was clearly still in shock as he stood outside of the home.  In the video, Jones’ explains that he purchased the residence for his mom, Nancy, several years ago, to fulfill a promise that he made to her as a child. His son spent a lot of time in the home.

Yet even with a seemingly terrible start to the Christmas holiday, the 41-year-old rapper was able to find the bright side to the situation. “We can always buy new houses, new cars, new [everything], but we can’t buy a new family,” he wrote on Instagram.
