Man Arrested For Throwing Packages Over Prison Fence On Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, a man decided to bare some special gifts to an Ohio prison.

Avery Ingram, 21, tried to throw four packages containing tobacco, cellphones, and marijuana over Richland Correctional Institution’s fence.

Around 9 a.m. Sunday morning (Dec. 24), the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports the then unidentified man approached the facility where troopers caught up with him a short time later and arrested him, WEWS-TV reports.

Ingram faces charges of illegal conveyance of drugs onto prison grounds, illegal conveyance of electronics and criminal trespassing.
