Quavo, Finish Line Team Up To Give Away Custom Lebron 15s

“Do anybody know what Huncho mean?… Leader of the team.”

This is an idea that Head Huncho, Quavo, seems to be taking past the intro to his new single, “Hellcat,” when the Migos’ frontman teamed up with Finish Line to deliver an early Christmas present to his old stomping grounds.

On Thursday (Dec. 14), Quavo decided to surprise his former high school basketball team with pairs of his one-of-one Lebron 15s.

In the Instagram post where he made this announcement, the Quality Control artist is seen pulling up to Berkmar High School and dropping off pairs of the exclusive sneakers that feature the school’s colorway and logo.

In addition to documenting the new McLaren 650S that was used to deliver the shoes, Quavo’s post also expressed his gratitude to Lebron and Finish Line for making the appropriately dubbed “Berkmar Brons” possible.

This drop-off follows Quavo flexing his Finish Line “Unlimited Sneakers” card, something that took many sneaker lovers by surprise. However, with the distribution of the Berkmar Brons, it is apparent that the Huncho’s relationship with the company goes past free sneakers. And with many rap artists gaining endorsements from shoe stores (like DJ Khaled who has a Champs Sports store in his studio), there is much anticipation within the intertwined world of rap and fashion about the direction of this partnership.
