Donald Trump Believes He Would Win A Presidential Race Against Oprah Winfrey
President Donald Trump had a lot to say when asked by reporters on Tuesday (Jan. 9) if he thinks he could beat media-mogul Oprah Winfrey in a presidential race, Buzzfeed reports.
“Yeah, I’ll beat Oprah… Oprah will be lots of fun,” Trump said when prompted by a White House reporter. “I did one of her last shows. I like Oprah.”
The question follows Winfrey’s monumental speech at Sunday’s Golden Globes (Jan. 7). Given Winfrey’s powerful public speaking abilities, many speculated if the former talk show host planned on participating in the 2020 campaign.

Speculations only increased on Tuesday morning when CBS This Morning host and Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King, said Oprah was “intrigued by the idea.”
“I don’t think at this point she’s actually considering it,” King said.
“I want all the girls watching here, now, to know that a new day is on the horizon!” Winfrey said. “And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say, ‘Me too’ again!”
Interestingly enough, Winfrey praised the press, who have come under attack multiple times by Trump, for their “insatiable dedication to uncovering the absolute truth.”
