Tamar Braxton Says She's Done Speaking On Her Marriage Troubles

TayTay deleted her Instagram account.

Social media may not be the best way for Tamar Braxton to work through marriage woes. After a long holiday weekend full of drama, Braxton disabled her Instagram account on Tuesday (Jan. 2), and promised to stop publicly commenting on her relationship with estranged husband, Vincent Herbert.

The abrupt vow of silence came after Braxton denied reports that she reconciled with Herbert, who she filed for divorce from late last year.

Over the weekend, Braxton accused Herbert of getting another woman pregnant. The singer also tipped the media off to Herbert being arrested at her home on Christmas, and in a separate comment on the post, she implied that Basketball Wives star Laura Govan could be the pregnant woman in question.

Once everything blew up online, Braxton found herself defending Herbert following a tweet from singer Melissa Schuman (of the pop group Dream). Schuman retweeted a TMZ story about Braxton getting Herbert arrested for spousal assault.

“This one I am not surprised by,” Schuman tweeted adding that Herbert is the reason why she suffers PTSD in the recording studio.

“He verbally and emotionally abused me when I was 14 while recording Dream’s first record. Isolated us from each other and forced me us loose weight,” Schuman claimed.

Braxton responded by warning the former pop star to tread lightly:

After Braxton called her out, Schuman explained that she wasn't attempting to insert herself into "their reported family life but highlight and re-emphasize a problem in the music industry. "

Meanwhile, Govan, is also setting the record straight. In  interviews with the Breakfast Club and the Daily Pop on Tuesday, the mother of four clarified that she’s not dating Herbert, and is certainly not pregnant by him.

“It’s not true,” she said. “I don’t even know Vince like that. No disrespect, I think he’s a great guy, but he’s so not my type.”

Govan revealed that she reached out to Braxton, but hasn’t heard back. “I don’t know what she believes to be honest with you, but [she] can’t really believe that this is true.”

Cardi B Defends "Twerk" Video Against Conservative

Cardi B teamed up with the City Girls for their sexy "Twerk" video, in which the Miami and Bronx women twerked along the beautiful beaches with other buxom black and brown babes.

Some loved the videos, others not so much. One naysayer conservative Washington, D.C. video columnist took to Twitter to challenge Cardi b and other liberal women on how the provocative video will help during the #MeToo movement.

In the Era of #meToo how exactly does this empower women? Leftists, @iamcardib , feel free to chime in. THX .. pic.twitter.com/59fyDxrYAz

— Stephanie Hamill (@STEPHMHAMILL) January 21, 2019

Cardi B saw the tweet and responded to Hamill directly telling the former Trump national diversity coalition advisor that what a woman wears has no bearing on how much respect she should be given.

"It says to women that I can wear and not wear whatever I want. do whatever I want and that NO still means," the "I Like It" rapper tweeted. "So Stephanie chime in..If I twerk and be half naked does that mean I deserve to get raped and molested? I want to know what a conservative woman like you thinks."

It says to women that I can wear and not wear what ever I want. do w.e I want and that NO still means NO. So Stephanie chime in..If I twerk and be half naked does that mean I deserve to get raped and molested ? I want to know what a conservative woman like you thinks 🤔 https://t.co/8UBQQzO6jK

Woman Denies Chris Brown's Involvement In Reported Rape

A woman has come forward to clear Chris Brown's name after he was reportedly detained in Paris on a rape accusation.

On Monday (Jan. 21) a woman by name of Kim Ford shared several messages on her Instagram story, denying claims that Brown and his security guard abused an unidentified woman. Ford says "nothing happened" but was she was hit by a man who wasn't the "Undecided" singer.

"I am not the person who said Chris Brown raped them," she said. "I was there but nothing happened and the man who hit me had no relation to Chris Brown."

Earlier reports claimed an unidentified woman alleges that she met Brown at a Parisian night club in rue de Ponthieu, near the Champs-Elysées, on the night of Jan. 15 into Jan. 16, before heading back to his room at the La Mandarin Oriental.

Brown was recently spotted taking in the festivities of Paris Fashion Week, and smooching rumored flame, Ammika Harris. The “Undecided” singer shared video from dance rehearsal in the French city over the weekend.

VIBE has reached to Ford about her comments.

He has not commented on the reported rape allegation.

Not Sicko Mode: Nick Cannon Says Travis Scott Isn't For The Culture

Nick Cannon takes great issue with Travis Scott performing at the Super Bowl but says for Big Boi, it's okay.

During a sitdown with TMZ's Raquel Harper, the host of Masked Singer said "I'm Kaepernick all day," but said Scott doesn't have enough "cultural equity" to perform during Super Bowl LIII halftime show.

"To me, I call it cultural equity. So we're not mad at Big Boi for performing at the Super Bowl. He's for the people," 38-year-old Cannon explained. "[For Scott] he has to walk gingerly."

Harper followed up and questioned Cannon, to which he further explained having a child with Kylie Jenner also reduced his "cultural equity."

"It's more about truly having integrity in your music and in your art form. The people you choose to interact with. The people you choose to procreate with. That decision wasn't for the culture. But we not mad at you," Cannon said.

Harper reminded Cannon he's dated a few white women in his past, to which Cannon then looked into the camera and shouted: "I love white women."

The New England Patriots will face off against the Los Angeles Rams, Sunday, Feb. 3 for Super Bowl LIII. Maroon 5 along with Travis Scott and Big Boi are set to take the stage at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Out of respect for Colin Kaepernick, several artists declined to perform including Rihanna, Cardi B and JAY-Z who reportedly tried to talk Scott out of it.

After Scott agreed to perform, reports revealed he spoke with Kaepernick about the decision. Kaepernick's longtime girlfriend Nessa Diab took to social media to blast Scott and say it was a lie.
