Rae Sremmurd’s “CLOSE” Video (Feat. Travi$ Scott) Is Creepy

Tupelo, Miss. kin Rae Sremmurd has many fans patiently waiting their upcoming album, SR3MM–as well as their solo projects, and their forthcoming effort with Childish Gambino.

Just a week after releasing the Travi$ Scott-assisted “CLOSE,” today (April 25), the duo released the song’s spooky video, which finds Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi being attacked by attractive ghouls disguised as friends. However,Travi$ Scott commences the video by rapping his verse from the inside of an old-school Cadillac.

Swae Lee handles the second verse as he’s lured to an alley by a women pretending to be an love interest. Slim Jxmmi rips through his verse from inside of a liquor store before he’s steps outside to face a group ghouls.

VIBE recently spoke with Rae Sremmurd about their collaboration with Reebox for the brand’s new Fast Flexweave running shoe.

“We instantly signed with Reebok because they’re a fly, classic O.G. brand,” said Slim Jxmmi during a backstage interview. “They come out with stylish shoes, jump suits, jackets and everything else.” The duo rocked the stage following the live workout with hits like “No Flex Zone”, “Black Beetles”, “T’d Up”, “Perplexing Pegasus”, and more.

“We’re wearing the new Flexweaves right now,” Swae Lee told VIBE. “They’re fresh, they feel good and they’re real durable. You can wear them with fly outfits and when you want to jump around.”
