Broward County Sheriff Offers $3,000 Reward In XXXTentacion Murder Case
Police have not made an arrest in the murder of troubled rapper XXXTentacion, however, Broward County Sheriff’s County thanked the social media community for the tips they have received thus far.
“A Big Thank you to the social media community for many tips we received regarding the death of local rapper, XXXtentcion,” Broward Country authorities said in a Tweet.
The “Look at Me” MC was fatally shot after leaving RIVA, browsing for motorsports. X was preparing to leave when two armed men approached the rapper. After firing shots, the culprits fled the scene. The 20-year old, was pronounced dead Monday (June 18) at For Lauderdale hospital.
According to TMZ, suspects in XXX’s murder are two black males wearing hoodies, with the shooter wearing a red mask. Shortly after the ? rapper was gunned down, Delray Beach, FL. rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier JoJo were posing with a red mask as well as brandishing guns, leading people to believe that they were associated with X’s murder.
Florida rappers Soldier JoJo and Kidd, who were blamed by fans for the death of XXX, denied involvement in the murder, and took to Instagram to proclaim their innocence.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of comments, I been seeing a lot of thangs going on in social media, saying I had something to do with XXXTentacion’s passing, Kidd said. “Man, listen, we all got love for Florida, nigga. I got love for bro. I ain’t even know who the man was.”
“We out here handling business. We out here gettin’ money, bro. We don’t got no time for none of this shit goin’ on,” he continued. “But listen, all my condolences go to the man’s family and what not. But I just gotta get on the ‘gram and let ya’ know what it is, you feel me? I ain’t had nothing to do with it but I’ma stay positive, keep my head up.”
Broward Country Sheriff has up to a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest for X’s murder.
