Jay Rock & J. Cole Deal With Paranoia In New Video For “OSOM”
Jay Rock and J.Cole experience paranoia after pulling off a heist in their new video for “OSOM,” a song from Rock’s latest Redemption album.
In the brand new video treatment, after equally splitting money from the robbery, the Dreamville and TDE artists go through their day as usual. However, Jay is extra paranoid, while Cole is being followed by someone driving a cadillac. Their nervousness comes from a real place, because at the video’s conclusion, two masked me with guns catch Cole and Rock slipping.
Last week, Jay Rock released his third studio album Redemption. The 13-song effort features the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jeremih, SZA, and J.Cole. Rock’s third studio album has been spearheaded by bangers “Win,” and “The Bloodiest.”
The “Gumbo” rapper also released the first episode of Road to Redemption documentary. The film explores the early days of Rock’s career, and includes interviews from Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and others.
“If you really rooted in the struggle, and you know how much time you spent in them country buildings, the welfare offices, on the curb, and being harassed by the police, your heart will alway be there regardless,” K. Dot says. “That’s how it is with Jay Rock.”
