Bobby Brown To Honor Bobbi Kristina With Domestic Violence Shelter
Mayor Bill Edwards of South Fulton will present Brown and his wife with a proclamation Monday, which is an acknowledgment to erect the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House.
“Our family lives with the pain every day of losing my beautiful daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to domestic violence,” Brown said in a statement. “She loved Atlanta and in her memory, we are proud to announce the formation of the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House. Our initial goal is to help educate women and men of all ages, by creating a 24-hour crisis intervention line and emergency transitional shelter.”
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub in 2015 inside her Atlanta home. Six months later she died. Bobbi Kristina was 22 years old.
Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon was looked at as a person of interest. Gordon was later found responsible in a wrongful death lawsuit and ordered to pay $36 million to the Bobbi Kristina estate.
