Tyga To Launch Weed Strain Named After Platinum Song
Tyga is flying high after the RIAA announced his new single “Taste” featuring Offset was certified platinum. And to capitalize on the recent success, the rapper may be looking to launch a new weed strain named after the single.
The rapper recently shared a series of photos and videos on his Instagram account, suggesting that the new strain was “coming soon.” Tyga also linked to a Instagram page called “Taste Kush,” which showed a room of workers cutting and organizing piles of marijuana.
“Everyone stay tuned @tastekush is coming strong, exclusive Taste Kush strain only by us, and the first drop will be coming very soon,” the rapper teased in another Instagram post. While nothing has been set in stone just yet, it seems as though the strain of weed will be made available through the ADCC Dispensary, which is located in Los Angeles.
With “Taste Kush” on the way, Tyga will be just one of many music artists getting into the marijuana business. Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, and Freedie Gibbs have also launched strains and weed products in the past couple of years.
It’s unclear when “Taste Kush” will be available. In addition to the upcoming strain, Tyga may be bringing new life into his hit single by recruiting Cardi B to be on the remix. Stay tuned.
