Busta Rhymes And T.I. Believe Bob Marley Was Killed By The CIA
"I’m just gon leave this here...."
On Monday afternoon (Sept. 3), T.I. and Busta Rhymes launched a mixed conversation among the masses concerning Bob Marley’s death. With a headline citing how an ex-CIA officer named Bill Oxley confessed to the organization’s involvement in Marley’s passing, the two rappers posted screenshots of the highly-debatable article and encouraged their followers to read the report.
As noted by SOHH, T.I. and Busta had very curt captions while highlighting the presumed conspiracy theory. “I’m just gon leave this here….” T.I. wrote, while Busta coined the headline “jewel for the day.” Since the article has gained traction, news sites like Snopes debunked the Your News Wire’s report, referring to the information as false and lacking credible sources or facts.
Marley died in 1981 from Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, a form of skin cancer that deteriorates the brain. His illness was seemingly catalyzed by a foot injury during a soccer match. Since the reggae legend’s death, conspiracy theories as to what really caused his shocking passing continue to mention the CIA. Part of those assumptions claim the CIA injected poison into the “Three Little Birds” singer.
