Cardi B Says She Received More Fashion Deals Since NYFW Incident

The coins keep rolling in for Cardi B.

Despite assumptions, Cardi B has enjoyed more wins following her incident at New York Fashion Week. While some are on the Billboard charts, others are in the form of lucrative deals with the biggest names in fashion.

While in Italy for Milian Fashion Week, Cardi addressed the notion that her star has faded since her scuffle with Nicki Minaj. "After the altercation that happened at Fashion Week, there are a lot of people saying 'Cardi B is canceled,' but that's not true," she said during an Instagram live session Monday (Sept. 24). "I've actually gotten a lot of offers from a lot of fashion people that you all will slowly but surely, slowly but surely see."

She also addressed rumors that high profile celebrities unfollowed her on social media after the incident. "That's not even true. Those celebrities weren't even following me. Why can't y'all just stop making rumors and trying to make me look like I'm "over" and everything? When my time is "over," you'll see when my time is over," she added.

TMZ also reports designers didn't rescind their invites following the incident. She recently attended a Dolce & Gabbana show as well as a Philipp Plein show in support of her sister Hennesy Carolina who walked on the runway. Nicki Minaj arrived in Milan just a few days before Cardi and has enjoyed her time at the Versace show and then some.

Looks like we can all put the drama behind us and get back to loving the music.

Pandora’s Sound On: Spring Campaign Features Khalid, 2 Chainz And More

To usher in the spring season, Pandora designed a new playlist for select cities to help users enhance and amplify their listening experiences.

"We here at Pandora are launching a brand new campaign that amplifies the moment you’re in and helps you discover your unique sound—the music that moves you, the rhythm that fuels you, the album that inspires you to be you," a statement from Pandora's representatives reads.

Choosing iconic locations across America like Nashville, San Francisco, Oakland, New York City, Miami, and Atlanta, these select places have been given their own individual codes that lead to a customized playlist that coincides with the artist's work.

"We’ve commissioned leading street artists to create wall murals that depict their unique interpretations of sound and spring discovery. Each mural will have a QR code that leads to a customized playlist curated by each mural artist and reflects the music that inspired their work."

Some of the big names in music who appear on these playlists include Khalid, 2 Chainz, John Legend, and Becky G with a host of other popular artists. Though most of the playlist represents the artwork created in these select cities, there are hip-hop and R&B influences that make them exciting to listen to.
