Future attended NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (Sept. 11), to perform a song from his most recent mixtape Beast Mode 2.
The Georgia born trap star began his set with a dedication to the late rapper, Mac Miller, who died from a suspected overdose on Sept. 7. After his opening, Future went on to perform “31 Days,” produced by Zaytoven.
Future stood alone on the stage, accompanied only by a projector and strobe lights as he delivered a very captivating execution of the single. This is his first live performance on the late-night circuit for any of his singles off his newly released EP.
The Fader reports The Beast Mode 2 rapper may be releasing another album in preparation of his upcoming tour with Nick Minaj. But since its cancellation, nothing has been confirmed, but fans are still hopeful.
Future joins artists like J. Cole and Childish Gambino who have been greatly affected by the passing of the 26-year old MC, and have dedicated songs to the “Best Day Ever” rapper to say their goodbyes to their fallen friend.
