Mac Miller’s tragic and untimely death has continued to impact members of the hip-hop community. During a stop on the KOD Tour in Las Vegas, J. Cole gave a heartfelt tribute to the “Self Care” rapper.

The platinum-selling artist also delivered a PSA on mental health saying, “People die, today, yesterday, and tomorrow, they die, and they never got a chance to deal with their s**t. They never even knew they were supposed to. I’m not trying to wait till I die to deal with my s**t. I’m trying to deal with my s**t right f**king now.”

The “1985” rapper then proceeded to perform “Love Yourz” in dedication to Miller. “I need y’all to put your cell phones in the sky right now for my ni**a Mac Miller,” he said. “We’re going to do this whole song for him, this whole show is for him.”

Following Miller’s death (Sept. 7), the North Carolina native took to Twitter to offer his support to anybody struggling with substance abuse.

Cole is the latest musician to dedicate a song to the late rapper. Artists like Elton John, G-Eazy and Childish Gambino have all said their farewells to Miller during concerts.
