Premiere: Teenear Battles Her Emotions In “Need Your Love”

Music Premieres

The last time we heard from singer-songwriter Teenear was 2017, when she was rocking through the airways with her single “Something Else” and the Fetty Wap collaboration “Love Me or Leave Me.”

Today (Sept. 20) the Miami bombshell has given VIBE the thumbs up to premiere her newest single, “Need Your Love.”

Showcasing her vulnerability and range as an artist, Teenear fuses R&B and pop to make the perfect feel-good track.

“Need Your Love” speaks to fears of falling too deeply for someone. “I hope that you love me how I love you because/ I think that we can make this last forever but/ I’m scared to go too far with this I need your love/ Don’t want to need your love,” sings the up and coming singer.

Teenear first appeared on our radar in 2016 when she dropped her debut single “Friday Night” featuring Sage the Gemini. Since then, the track has garnered over 4 million streams and 600,000 views on Youtube.

Signed to Slip-N-Slide records, Teenear is steady on her come-up. “I think she’s what the new generation is looking for,” said Ted Lucas, the CEO of the company. “She is young, talented, with a drive to be successful.”
