Kelly Clarkson’s Upcoming Talk Show To Replace Steve Harvey’s Slot In Fall 2019

Steve Harvey’s long-running NBC talk show, Steve, will continue to air in its current markets until Fall 2019, when Kelly Clarkson’s daytime talk show debuts on NBC-owned television group stations.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Clarkson’s show is described as a “weekday brunch party” between unlikely guests. The talk show will replace Steve in the slot before Ellen in the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, Hartford and Washington, D.C. group stations, roughly about 30 percent.

“We are very excited to have Kelly Clarkson on our air next fall,” said the president of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, Valari Staab. “She’s genuine, warm, fun and interacts with her fans in a meaningful way.” Clarkson will also serve as a judge on the NBC singing competition, The Voice.

Harvey’s show has aired for two seasons, starting on September 5, 2017.
