Tyga Enlists Offset For “Taste” Performance on ‘Kimmel’

Music

On Tuesday, (Sept. 25) Tyga and Offset took a trip to the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage, becoming another hip-hop act to be showcased in the show’s Mercedes Benz concert series.

The “Rack City” rapper gets this performance started in an all-red-everything rendition of his infectious new single, “Taste.” He is joined by three women in red leather who can be seen dancing on a shiny mini stage with a stripper pole while Tyga spits his bars.

While the ladies in red share the pole, Offset joins the foursome, inciting a welcome response from the engaged crowd. The new father runs through his verse hyping up the crowd and executing a flawless and energetic performance.

Tyga ends the song with a shoutout to popular cities, rapping: “Miami you can get a taste/ Oakland you can get a taste/New York do you love the taste?”

The duo opted to perform the explicit version of the raunchy bop on the nighttime show. The 28-year-old MC claims he wrote this track in 30 minutes during a fun night in the studio, according to a video he did with Billboard. This has been a particularly fruitful musical release for Tyga. “Taste” currently holds the 12th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been on the chart for the past 17 weeks.
