Bow Wow Tackles Domestic Violence In New Video 'Broken Heart'
The roller coaster ride of love is put on full display in Bow Wow's new video for his single "Broken Heart." In the visual, Shad Moss brings up the issue of domestic violence in an attempt to educate the masses.
At the beginning of the nearly three-minute, OttoTheDirector- shot video, a staggering statistic is given about the number of women who experience physical violence at the hands of a lover each year. Throughout the video, the ups and downs of a relationship are shown. At multiple points, the rapper and his girl are screaming at each other. When she walks away from him due to frustration, Bow Wow tries pulls her back to no avail.
According to Bow Wow's Instagram page, this is the first single off of his new album, which he plans to drop in December.
"This record is a reflection of the things I’ve pretty much been going through," he revealed in an Instagram video while in his hotel room in Australia. "It’s very deep…this video is definitely gonna touch a lot of you guys."
Despite saying he was pulling out of the So So Def tour, Bow Wow also revealed in the intro video for the song that he would be embarking on the tour with his label mates like Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Xscape, Anthony Hamilton, Bone Crusher and Dem Franchize Boyz.
