Candace Owens Apologizes To Kanye West Following ‘Blexit’ Incident

On Tuesday evening (Oct. 30), Kanye West took a very public step away from politics, claiming he was “used” to promote “Blexit” apparel with Candace Owens. Now, the 29-year-old conservative commentator has issued an apology to the controversial rapper.

In a personal blog, the Black Lives Matters critic wrote, “If I had to imagine what it would feel like to have a bullet pierce my heart, it would be exactly like the moment I learned Kanye told the world he felt I had used him…I never once said that Kanye designed the t-shirts for BLEXIT.” Owens stated that was a lie, continuing, “I would like to publicly apologize to him for any undue stress or pain the effort to correct that rumor has caused him, his business relationships, or his family. He simply never designed them.”

The “Blexit” merchandise was developed by Owens as a means of convincing African Americans to exit the Democratic party. However, the tendentious ownership of black-exit shirts that was placed upon West caused him to open his eyes to the puppetry he has exposed himself to.

West also denounced certain political stances that counter his statement on migrants. “I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war,” West tweeted.
