The Diplomats Promote “Sauce Boyz” Single Ahead Of Album’s Release

Music News

The Diplomats have a new single titled “Sauce Boyz” on the way. On Monday (Oct. 29), Jim Jones took to his Instagram page to tease the group’s upcoming song and project.

In the 54-second visual, the rap ensemble — partly consisting of Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey — can be seen wearing business attire with flashy accessories while shots of New York City play throughout the video. “Sauce Boyz” will serve as the lead single for the group’s first album in 14 years, Diplomatic Ties (Nov. 22). A concert at the iconic Apollo Theater will occur the following day.

Jones also confirmed there’s a documentary linked to the album’s release. This past September, the 42-year-old artist posted the album’s tracklist with Belly as its only guest feature.

Since 1997, the group created songs that are still heard today. The group signed a deal with Interscope back in 2011, with plans to release a reunion album but it never came to fruition. The group reunited in 2013 for the tenth anniversary of their 2003 debut Diplomatic Immunity and premiered their single “Have My Money” two years later on Funkmaster Flex’s HOT 97 show.
