Eminem Drops Infectious Visual For “Venom” Single

Music News

To align with the release of the latest Marvel film, Eminem has dropped the visuals for his new single, “Venom” on Friday (Oct. 5).

The five-minute video begins as Em’s first “victim” stumbles upon a mysterious record in the middle of the street. As he hops on the metro bus, he starts experiencing a series of complications, likely brought on by the weird thing crawling on his neck or the bass bumping in his headphones. As he continues about his business, he transfers the infectious illness to other bystanders or friends he comes in contact with.

The virus takes on a life of its own as it jumps from one person to the other, causing them to have rapid-fire speech and dizzying vision. The poison eventually finds it’s way back to Eminem, transforming him into the real Marvel character, Venom.

“Thinkin’ it’s time to go get ‘em / They ain’t gonna know what hit ‘em,” he sings on the chorus.

As you may have guessed, “Venom” serves as the primary song for Marvel’s new movie of the same title, which debuted in theaters on Oct. 5. The single is also present on Eminem’s surprise album, Kamikaze, which dropped on Aug. 31.

Venom the movie as well as Eminem’s music video for “Venom” the single are out now. Watch Em’s visuals in the video above.
