Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars And Kodak Black Drop Glistening "Wake Up In The Sky" Video

The high life.

On Wednesday (Oct. 17), at approximately 10:17 a.m. EST, Gucci Mane graced fans with the music video for "Wake Up In Sky" featuring Bruno Mars and Kodak Black.

Directed by Bruno Mars, the star-studded clip transforms the trio into an old-school R&B group flaunting flyness and finesse.

The visual begins with a glacier-esque Gucci, wearing a long white fur coat over an all white suit and jewels. The 1017 rapper is then joined by Mars and Kodak, who don their own flashy fits as they take the stage.

"The ladies love the luxury (yeah)/ That's why they all f**k with me (woo)/Out here with the moves (yeesh)/Like I invented smooth/ You can't tell me I ain't fly (You can't tell me I ain't fly)/ I know I'm super fly" Mars sings on the chorus, with Gucci covering the ad-libs.

An ode to the high life, "Wake Up In The Sky" is the third single from Guwop's upcoming album, Evil Genius.

Be sure to check out the video up top.

Sho Madojozi's "John Cena" Sparks Challenge And John Cena Shoutout

South African rapper, singer, and songwriter Sho Madjozi has made a splash in 2019. After the release of her latest single "John Cena," the artist has sparked an upbeat dance challenge and a special shoutout from Mr. Cena himself.

Premiering via her COLORS performance last week, "John Cena" became the number one trending video YouTube thanks to her high-spirited instrumentation and dynamic lyrics.

Her popping pink dress with fuschia feathers trimmed along the bottom match her pink braids and Nike kicks. With a contagious smile that can turn to a stank face real quick, the artist's entrancing electronic beats paired with her irresistible melodies make Madjozi a standout. She weaves in her dance moves from start to finish paying homage to her Xitsonga lyrics.

Recently gracing the cover of the July issue of Cosmopolitan SA, she was also featured on South African rapper and producer phH Raw X's latest single "Ibeballinho." Madjozi dropped her 13-track project in 2018 'Limpopo Champions League' featuring the sounds of Makhadzi, Kwesta, Makwa, Marioo, Aubrey Qwana, pH Raw X, and Ycee. She also won Newcomer of the Year and Female Artists of the Year at the 2019 South African Music Awards.

Her big wins and catchy single caught the eye of the real-life John Cena who crowned her a legend on his Instagram account.

Phonte and Big Pooh released their new Litle Brother album May the Lord Watch on digital service providers at midnight on Tuesday (Aug. 20). The album clocks in at 15 tracks and 37 minutes, with the lion's share of production handled by fellow Justus League member and frequent collaborator Khrysis, Focus and Nottz, with more beats by Black Milk, Abjo, Devin Morrison, Blaaq Gold, and King Michael Coy. A glance at the tracklist appears to show that there are no guest appearances, but this story will be updated with further details. In an Instagram post, Rapper Big Pooh referred to the record as "the album of our careers."

Listen, man. It took us a long time to get it right but we did. I love the fact we accomplished the goal but it’s the journey that I’ll always cherish the most. We wrote and recorded every song on this album together. We carried each other. We give y’all the album of our careers, “May The Lord Watch” . . Thank you to everyone that contributed to this album. It wouldn’t have turned out the same way without y’all. (I’ll drop the credits later. I got some champagne to drink) #LBbizness #MTLW #availablenow

Phonte and Big Pooh announced in May that they would be coming back together for a new record, albeit without the production of founding member 9th Wonder, who gave the group his blessing while he continued other projects. Since then, the duo has released a documentary about their surprise live reunion at the 2018 Art of Cool Festival in their home state, which was revealed to have been the spark for their idea to make a new album. Since then, they have stayed relatively mum on details until Aug 19, when they surprised fans with the title, the album cover, and the news that the album would be dropping at midnight.

Little Brother released their debut album The Listening in 2003, before landing a record deal with Atlantic Records and releasing their acclaimed sophomore album The Minstrel Show in 2005. They released two more albums, Getback (2007) and Leftback (2010), before parting ways for their own musical endeavors. Phonte has since made solo albums and group albums with producer Nicolay as the Grammy-winning duo Foreign Exchange, Rapper Big Pooh has released solo albums, and 9th Wonder founded what would become It's A Wonderful World Music Group, which features artists including Grammy-nominated MC Rapsody..

Arin Ray And Kehlani's "Change" Reminds Us That Love Is Fleeting But Today's R&B Isn't

Arin Ray and Kehlani provide a perfect duet that pulls at the heartstrings with "Change," reminding us that the future of R&B is in great hands.

The track may have been released last week but there's something about Ray's smooth vocals that keep the track on repeat.  With Kehalani as a co-captain on the rollercoaster of love, the writer, producer, and classically trained vocalist invites his fans into his gentle but twisted love story. You've got me all in my feelings/ Girl, I know, girl, you're tired from/ running through my mind (Ayy)/You stole my heart in a minute," he sings.

Ray, who is a huge fan of Kehlani, allows her to reclaim her soulful throne on his offering. "I've known Kehlani for some years now, Ray explained to VIBE. "I've always admired her as an artist and even more as a friend. I feel like we've got one with this record for sure."

The Bay Area native weighed in on her social media mentioning that this was her "favorite collaboration" that she has done in a long time. "I f*ckin love this song, glad we finally did this. Real friends, real love."

He posted on his Instagram on Monday (Aug. 12) teasing the release.
