Jay Rock’s “Win” Has Been Remixed For Stacey Abrams Gubernatorial Campaign

Music News

Stacey Abrams hopes to make history as the first African-American and woman to be elected as governor of Georgia. She’s run a successful campaign thus far and is giving Republican candidate Brian Kemp a run for his money during the process.

To help up her ranking in the polls Jay Rock’s “Win” has been unofficially remixed for Abrams gubernatorial campaign. Some of the triumphant song’s original lyrics remain the same, namely and most obviously when the TDE artist raps ” Win, win, win, win.”

However when Rock raps “Get out the way, get out the way, get out the way yeah” the words have been replaced with “Get out and vote, get out and vote, get out and vote yeah.” Other lines include “Just vote for Stacey, not that other bro,” “Vote for Stacey Abrams, that’s a win, win, win, win,” and “ATL so lit. Win, win, win, win.”

Whoever the rapper is, he does a really good job mimicking Jay Rock’s voice. On June 15, Redemption was released. It was the third studio album from Jay Rock and scored him the widely received admiration he’d long been deserving of.
