Joe Biden And Robert DeNiro Receive Suspicious Packages Amidst 'MAGA Bomber' Hysteria
These are the eighth and ninth suspicious packages recovered in two days.
Two more suspicious packages were sent to high-profile individuals, marking the eighth and ninth sent out to a slew of Democratic figures from the 'MAGA Bomber.'
Early Thursday morning (Oct. 25), the NYPD recovered a suspicious package from a building owned by actor Robert DeNiro. According to reports, the building is the home of DeNiro's Tribeca Enterprises production venture.
“A suspicious package was received," Tribeca said. "We called the police. They took it out and went through all safety procedures. It was addressed to Robert De Niro and is similar packaging to the others. It is an open investigation. Everyone is safe and the building is open."
A second package was recovered Thursday addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden, who just yesterday tweeted "This country has to come together. This division, this hatred, this ugliness has to end" in response to the frenzy.
Both have been open opponents of the regime of Donald Trump. Earlier this year, the Goodfellas actor made headlines for yelling 'F**k Trump!' during the June Telecast of the Tony Awards. Biden, who in the past called Trump a 'joke' who is 'trashing American values,' recently stated that he believes 45 is "more George Wallace than George Washington."
