Kali Uchis Brings Fans “Just A Stranger” Video

Captain Kali Uchis takes some beach babes on a wild pirate adventure in the video for her new track “Just A Stranger” featuring Steve Lacy.

The tropical clip comes by way of BRTHR and shows Uchis as a money hungry vixen. The bright video puts an emphasis on the power of the paper.

The chorus which is dominated by the vocals of The Internet’s bandmate Steve Lacy is a catchy twist to this upbeat bop: “She wants my hundred dollar bills/She don’t want love/She wants my hundred dollar bills/She don’t want love/She wants my hundred.”

The visuals primarily take place on a beach, however, the added layers of amination tell a story that can capture an audience.

“Just A Stranger” is the 24-year-old singer’s fourth studio single from her Isolation album which hit shelves in April 2018. It’s also the second collaborative effort between Uchis and Lacy. The first being “Only Girl” featuring Vince Staples.

The Colombian-American singer/songwriter has been killing the game since she achieved mainstream success and has recently begun the closing leg of her first headlining tour.
