Kanye West Pushes Back ‘Yandhi’ Release Date

After an unmistakably premature hype, Kanye West was unable to deliver Yandhi as previously expected. Failing to meet the original Sept. 29 release date, Kanye West will now drop the album on Black Friday, says Kim Kardashian.

Yandhi was originally scheduled to be released this weekend, after West’s appearance on Saturday Night Live. Days earlier, he stopped by The Fader to play a few unfinished tracks off the album.

Promising features from Ty Dolla $ign, Tekashi 6ix9ine and XXXtentacion, West revealed that a majority of the tracks had not been properly mixed, with a few awaiting to be recorded. Upon the tracks that were not played, Ye also flirted with the idea of having Rihanna on the album, though nothing had been finalized.

With the release date getting pushed back nearly two months, expectations are increasing. Though it’s hard to say which of the originally demoed tracks will make the final cut, we’re keep our fingers crossed for some new Rihanna.

Kanye West has yet to speak himself on details of the new release date.
