LeBron James Joins Drake On Stage For “Sicko Mode” Performance

Entertainment

Before the regular season begins, LeBron James worked out any pre-Lakeshow jitters he may have by joining Drake on the latter’s Staples Center tour stop (Oct. 13). The Toronto native shared the stage with “Sicko Mode” captain Travis Scott when James surprised the crowd with an energetic appearance.

Produced by Tay Keith, Hit-Boy, Cubeatz, Mike Dean, OZ, and Roget Chahayed, “Sicko Mode” is the latest single from Scott’s current album, Astroworld. The melody continues to reach new heights each time Scott or collaborator Drake perform this party-starter.

James’ appearance was coupled with another surprise performance by Chris Brown, a moment that took nearly 10 years to come to fruition. “Last time I was on stage with Breezy was 2009 at Virginia Commonwealth University,” Drake wrote on Instagram. “…tonight I got to reconnect with him for the first night at Staples! I love a good full circle moment.”

Drake also fulfilled a guest spot on James’ The Shop program. The “Weston Road Flows” rapper discussed fatherhood, being raised by his white mother, and his strain with Kanye West and Pusha T.
