LeBron James Reportedly Equips L.A. Home With Armed Security

Four suspects were arrested on Wednesday (Oct. 3) for a string of high-profile burglaries in Los Angeles, but LeBron James is still taking precaution.

According to the LAPD, the apprehended suspects are connected to a series of 24 high-profile burglaries in L.A., hitting the celebrity homes of Rihanna, Christina Milian, L.A. Rams’ Robert Woods, Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig and more.

At the time of apprehension, the LAPD also uncovered a pending hit-list that cataloged the addresses of a dozen more homes – including  LeBron James, Viola Davis, and Matt Davis.

With three kids and a wife at home, the basketball star is taking the matter very seriously. As a result of the plot, sources tell TMZ that James hired an armed security personnel comprising of approximately 10 people – allegedly including off-duty police officers and the NBA’s security team.

Though there are currently four people in custody, police believe that there are many more people involved in this large heist network.

James is currently the owner of two Los Angeles homes, both of which reside in the luxurious Brentwood neighborhood. It’s unclear which of the multimillion-dollar mansions was targeted in this attempt.
