NAO Performs Acoustic Version Of “Make It Out Alive”

Music News

In the world of reverb and auto-tune, the music industry has become dependent on re-touch methods. But once in a while, a diamond in the rough emerges to give their fans a dash of acoustic talent. NAO successfully tries her hand at an acoustic performance for her new single “Make It Out Alive.”

The 30-year-old singer appeared in this four-minute clip accompanied by a guitarist seated in a vintage car. NAO, who was seated opposite the musician showed off her vocal ability as she took on lead vocals. The Sony Music associate conquered the dual pitched tones of the song as she floated through her higher pitched sound to switch effortlessly into a deeper key.

“Make It Out Alive,” which originally features TDE artist Sir, is set to debut on the songstress’ sophomore album Saturn (Oct. 26). The project serves as the follow-up to NAO’s critically-acclaimed For All We Know album that featured crowd favorite “Bad Blood.”

The East London native brought an intimate and outdoorsy performance to YouTube that could give anyone chills.
