Nick Cannon Inks Deal With Fox For Late Night Television Series

Nick Cannon has once again cemented his showmanship skills with a new deal for a late-night series with Fox, Billboard reports. The Wild N’ Out creator is joining forces with The Talking Dead producer Michael Davies to create a late night weekly program centered on topical issues with a heavy dose of pop culture.

Like most, the untitled, late night talk show will showcase live musical performances, high profile celebrity interviews, and entertaining conversation. Cannon’s new partnership with Fox is part of a development deal he signed, which includes hosting duties for the network’s new celebrity competition series, The Masked Singer. Cannon once hosted America’s Got Talent for a few years before leaving the show in 2017.

Being that Cannon is unapologetic about his opinions and views, we’re sure the new show will be dotted with thought-provoking commentary. Last month, Kanye West called out Cannon and Drake for allegedly speaking about his wife Kim Kardashian, but Cannon was quick to defend his right to say whatever he wants.

“Love and respect for you, you know I always had that. But I honestly gotta say this my dude, I have never said anything disrespectful—in my opinion—to your marriage and union,” he said. “I salute it, keep it going. But you’re not gonna tell me what I can and can’t say.”

The air-date and title of the new show have yet to be announced. Either way, will you be tuning in?
