For the first time, Post Malone performed his No. 1 hit “Psycho” with collaborator Ty Dolla $ign at the 2018 American Music Awards on Tuesday (Oct. 9).

With his brand new haircut, silver ensemble, black shirt and shiny belt with boots to match, Malone performed the multi-platinum hit with Ty Dolla, who came to the stage shirtless only wearing a fur coat, tight leather pants, and sunglasses.

After the hip-hop collaborators wowed the audience with “Psycho,” Malone transitioned into his other hit, “Better Now,” where pyrotechnics lit up the stage as the crowd continued to cheer for him. 21 Savage, who worked with the Texas native on their No. 1 song “Rockstar,” can be seen in the audience singing along to the songs. Malone also took home the AMAs for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist beating out industry veterans Drake and Ed Sheeran.

The “White Iverson” rapper debuted his new haircut to his 13 million followers on Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 6) with the caption, “had 2 big a** dreads. plz don’t stop listening to my music.”

Aside from the music, the 23-year old rapper recently announced the European leg of his tour, while Variety reported that he would be making his acting debut in upcoming Netflix film, Wonderland, starring Mark Wahlberg.
