Music News

Quavo is gearing up for his solo debut. To build anticipation, the Migos member revealed the release date and album cover for his upcoming solo projectQuavo Huncho on Thursday night (Oct. 4).

The rapper unveiled the album art on Instagram, which illustrates an abstract portrait of Quavo. Earlier this week, Quavo also shared what appears to be a list of features. Drake, Cardi B, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, and his fellow Migos brethren will reportedly appear on the album. While there isn’t a tracklist yet, the album is expected to included Quavo’s pre-released singles, “Workin’ Me,” “Lamb Talk,” and “Bubble Gum.”

Speaking about his upcoming album, Quavo recalled his easygoing creative process, saying that it “was never calculated.” “It was just about me having all these features out and everybody assuming that I was gonna do, like, a solo career,” he told Hypebeast during a Sept. 2018 interview. “I got too much music. I got to channel it somewhere. So dropping the solo project is a good way to do it.”

Quavo’s forthcoming project, Quavo Huncho will drop next Friday on Oct. 12. Stay tuned for more details and updates. In the meantime, check out the album art and features list in the photos below.
