After Signing With Rostrum Records, Rockie Fresh Releases “No Satisfaction”

Music News

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Rockie Fresh, but timing is everything and the Chicago rapper’s time is now. The 27-year-old rapper, who was previously a member of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group roster alongside Wale, Meek Mill, Stalley, and others, has now found a new outlet to develop and share his talent.

According to Billboard, Fresh is now a proud signee of Rostrum Records. On Tuesday (Oct. 23), the label’s founder and President Benjy Grinberg released a statement ringing in the good news. “Rockie has long been an artist I’ve admired,” Grinberg said. “And I’m proud that we can be a part of history in releasing his official debut album. Over the course of making this project, I have gotten to know Rockie well. He’s not only an incredible artist but also a wonderful person. It’s really special when you find both of those qualities in someone. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this music.”

The multi-record deal will kick off with the release of his debut full-length release, which is set to feature Chris Brown and 24hrs.

“I’ve always had a lot of respect for Benjy and the system he’s built at Rostrum,” Fresh said. “Now that we are working together, I fully understand why he’s been so successful in building the careers of some of my favorite artists. His trust in my vision has allowed me to be in a great place while creating this upcoming album. I would say that the future is very bright for both Rostrum and myself.”

On top of all that, Fresh has paired the announcement with the release of his brand new single, “No Satisfaction,” and the accompanying visual for it. Consider the song a little taste of what’s to come from the still-promising rapper. The song marks his first offering since April’s “CBS,” his reemergence after a long bout of low-key living.

Congrats, Rockie. Watch the video for “No Satisfaction” below.
