Oh Really?: Suge Knight's Son Says Tupac Shakur Is Alive And Well

The truth will be out and I'm not going anywhere,

The conspiracy theory that Tupac Shakur was not killed in 1996 and is actually in Cuba/working on new material/listening to Don McLean on the last walkman known to man have been circulating for over two decades. However, the latest claim of the California MC being alive and well are coming from a source somewhat related to Pac.

According to Suge Knight's son Suge Jr. and several posts to his Instagram page and Story, the "Hail Mary" rapper is alive and well and spending his time in Malaysia. He also claims that the Illuminati is eventually going to end all of us, but he couldn't keep the "truth" from people about Tupac any longer.

"He never left us. They'll be after me soon smh. For y'all though," one caption read accompanying a "photo" of Pac and Beyonce. Knight also shared a screenshot of a text sent to him from an anonymous sender, writing "you've said [too] much, time for you to go."

"The truth will be out and I'm not going anywhere," he responded. He insists that he is "not on drugs" and is stating the facts.

Knight's infamous father Marion "Suge" Sr. was recently sentenced to 28 years behind bars after striking a plea deal in his 2015 murder case. He will also have to serve three years of probation time. He was the founder and C.E.O. of Death Row Records, the label Tupac was a signee to.

Check out a few of Suge Jr.'s bizarre posts below.

Over 305,000 Children Are Without Schools In Mozambique Due To Cyclone Idai's Aftermath

After the devastating effects that Cyclone Idai has had in Mozambique over the past month, approximately 305,000 children are being left without attending school.

UNICEF broke down the importance of education amid the cyclone in a recent press release. The humanitarian organization reports that over 3,400 classrooms have been damaged in the surrounding regions where the natural disaster took place with an additional 2, 713 damaged ones in the Sofala area.

Educators in the community are also suffering from the absence of schooling, but UNICEF is determined to help out the cause in any way they can.

“UNICEF and its partners are working to help children return to school as quickly as possible,” reads the statement. “This includes providing educational supplies and early childhood development (ECD) kits, establishing temporary learning centers, distributing school tents, making repairs to school water and sanitation facilities, cleaning and disinfecting schools, and training teachers on psychosocial support for children.”

The organization has launched an appeal of $122 million dollars from the U.S. to help support the children and their families who are affected by Idai in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

According to CNN, 300 to 400 were washed on a road out of Beira, a city in Mozambique. And at press time on March 25, Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi said that the country may have over 1,000 people dead after the cyclone. The commissioner for Mozambique in England, Filipe Chidumo said that the country needs both domestic and international help to overcome this tragedy: "a sustained effort on part of the Mozambican government as well as the international community," he said.

Kerry Lathan, Man Injured In Nipsey Hussle Shooting, To Be Released From Jail

Kerry Lathan, a man recently jailed for violating his parole who was wounded during Nipsey Hussle’s shooting, is set to be released from jail, KTLA reports. The 56-year-old was arrested at his halfway house for allegedly associating with a “known” gang member.

Lathan, Hussle's friend, was receiving clothes at The Marathon Store where the fatal shooting took place on March 31. Because of Hussle's Rollin 60s Crips affiliation, authorities arrested Lathan and placed him in the Men’s Central Jail for violating his parole.

Before this occurrence, Lathan was released from prison after serving 25 years. “I’m in a wheelchair, but now they’re trying to send me back for life for just being there. Gang association. And I was sitting there with an activist, a peace maker, a person representing the community,” he said, per The New York Daily News reports. Lathan was convicted of murder in 1996.

“He’s very, very grateful,” Lathan's lawyer, Lauren Noriega, said. “He is very eager to get home. He was away for 25 years, so his children and grandchild don’t really known him and he wants to reunite with his family and live a low-key life.”
