Tekashi 6ix9ine Recruits Bobby Shmurda For New Track “Stoopid”

Music News

Tekashi 6ix9ine has his sights set on hitting his record of 10 out of 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. And to help him close the deal, the Brooklyn rapper hooked up with fellow BK native Bobby Shmurda on his latest track, “Stoopid.

The song, which debuted on Friday (Oct. 5), is produced by Tay Keith and DJ Lethal. The 2-minute track is right on brand for Tekashi 6ix9ine. It fuses his signature, yelling voice with hectic beats and trolling lyrics. “Tell him shut up, suck a d**k/Tell him fuck him, I’m the shit/B***h I’m just recording this/I’m getting money, I’m the shit/Shoutout my Bloods, shoutout my Crips/That n***a Ebro, he a b***h/Just another old n***a on a young n***a d**k,” 6ix9ine raps.

Bobby Shmurda – who is currently serving time for conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment – comes in on the second verse where he raps about his viral dance and his haters. “Like Young Bricks put the word out/You know you like a n***a shmoney dance /You gon’ love a n***a when I swerve out,” he raps.

The single arrives shortly after rumors suggested the two artists had beef with one another. But Bobby put an end to those whispers during a jailhouse interview morning in July 2018.

In other news, it’s nice to hear some new tunes from Bobby Shmurda. The rapper has been behind bars since Dec. 2014. His mother recently revealed that he will be released from prison in 2020.
