THEY Taps Wiz Khalifa For New Track "What I Know Now"
The last time fans heard from THEY., the R&B duo were blessing fans with a Father's Day-inspired joint "Pops" about the men in their lives. Just four short months later, they've enlisted the help of hip-hop icon Wiz Khalifa to bring their new single "What I Know Now."
The guitar-heavy song reflects on the effects of an unhealthy relationship with the "Back It Up" singer/songwriters coming in hot on the relatable track.
"You still hear every word that they say, but/ These days they ain't making no sound/You still had me thinking that I'm crazy/Wish I knew then what I know now."
Khalifa joins in second, pushing his verse forward with his hard-hitting bars that drive the song home. "What I Know Now" incorporates the vibe of alternative music with R&B staples beats and production to create the very sound THEY. became known for in their with Nü Religion: Hyena LP released in February of 2017.
According to The Fader, this track is expected to be on the group's upcoming EP Fireside, which is slated to premiere on November 9, with features from artist like with Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Gallant, Vic Mensa, and Jessie Reyez.
