On Thursday (Oct. 25), Los Angeles' police and fire departments responded to a two-car crash involving Tyler, the Creator. NBC reports the accident occurred after midnight on Sunset Boulevard and Veteran Avenue.
The news site states the "Yonkers" rapper was driving his Tesla Model X when it collided with a parked car. Law enforcement officials noted that the California native was unharmed after the incident. TMZ adds that the impact sent the parked Honda CR-V 50 feet away from the initial point of contact. The crash totaled the front of Tyler's vehicle while the stationary car's back and left side caved in.
The unnamed owner of the Honda said this is the second time his vehicle has been involved in an incident that will cost a hefty sum to repair. "But like to find out that Tyler, the Creator hit it? I'm probably going to get a decent check," he said. "So it's whatever."
Details are still forthcoming.
The news arrives a day after the famed creator released his version of "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" in anticipation of Illumination Entertainment's forthcoming holiday production.
