Migos, Ludacris And More To Perform At EA Sports’ Pre-Super Bowl Concert

The NFL’s controversial treatment of Colin Kaepernick has caused the organization to miss out on some sought-after half-time performances from artist like Rihanna and Cardi B. But in a change of pace, the Associated Press confirmed Migos and Ludacris will perform at the EA Sports Bowl concert days prior to Super Bowl LIII.

In partnership with Electronic Arts Inc. and OnLocation Experiences, Offset, Quavo and Takeoff—will perform alongside other unannounced special guests to ring in Super Bowl festivities. Lil Yatchy, Lil Baby, and Metro Boomin are also scheduled to rock the mic as part of Quality Control Music’s showcase. Lil Jon will so be joining a special DJ set.

The EA Sports Bowl will be one part of the three-day Bud Light Musical Fest going down from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

Jermaine Dupri revealed he will produce a free concert leading up to the 2019 sporting event. To further his collaboration with the National Football League, the So So Def founder believes that rather than boycott the Super Bowl, celebrities should use their platforms to have tough discussions.

“I think they should send a message while they’re onstage, take advantage of your platform,” the 46-year-old said.

Super Bowl LIII will air live Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta with a half-time show by Maroon 5.

In the weeks leading up to the show, EA Sports will announce additional Atlanta artists set to perform. Click here to find out more information about the EA Sports Bowl concert tickets and more.
