Masta Ace And Marco Polo Deliver New Album, ‘A Breukelen Story’

Masta Ace of Juice Crew and esteemed producer Marco Polo paired up to bring A Breukelen Story to life. Their brand new album features 19 tracks, coming in hot at 55 minutes of pure Brooklyn joints.

Among the tracklist, “Breukelen” celebrates the past and present of Brooklyn and all the rappers who did right by the New York City borough. “Count Em Up” and “America Me” address being a black man in America. The project as a whole also touches on love, fear, gentrification and rap culture. All while chronicling the 33-year-old producer’s journey from Toronto to Brooklyn to become a master beatsmith.

Some of the most notable collaborations on A Breukelen Story include Pharoahe Monch, Styles P, Lil Fame, Elzhi, Pearl Gates, Pav Bundy, Trini Boy, Marlon Craft, and EMC.

Masta Ace recently partnered with Pearl Gates a live in-studio performance of  “Still Love Her.” Alongside Marco Polo, the pair has also created a YouTube series: A Breukelen Story with guest stars like Roxanne Shanté and Sadat X telling their own experiences and stories of living in Brooklyn.
