Fabolous Spends Over 100K On Christmas Gifts For Brooklyn Youth In Annual Toy Drive

Fabolous gets major kudos for his giving spirit.

Fabolous made Christmas come early for kids in the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club of Brooklyn this year with his annual Christmas Toy Drive. The event was made possible by the Brooklyn rapper’s foundation A Fabolous Way (which is designed to merge communities and the arts), Def Jam, D’usse and Lisa "LPeezy" Persaud.

“On behalf of The Boys and Girls Club, we would like to thank Fabolous and Lisa for bringing joy to some of our families this holiday season,” said the Director of Clubhouse Operations, Antonio Fort. "Fab has visited us in the past and we appreciate his positive message of inspiration to the youth.”

The event was held at the lavish Red Rabbit in New York City's Meat Packing District neighborhood. According to Page Six, Fab spent over 100K on the presents. “I don’t put a money amount on Christmas — I just want to show people that they are special to me," he said. "But, it is safe to say I have spent over $100,000.”

Although he's definitely generous, he admits that doing the actual shopping is tough for him because of his busy life. What matters most to him is making sure he's giving someone a thoughtful gift.

“For me now, the problem is giving people the right gift. It becomes impersonal a little bit … you might have to have an assistant do it. I don’t really get as involved, except with my kids," he explained. "My kids make a list, and I make sure that they get it — but, for the team, it’s a bit hard to be personal with it because I have so much going on.”

In addition to the gifts, the kids were also treated to food by 388 Restaurant, entertainment from Say Cheese Entertainment, and music from Power 105.1 FM DJ FirstChoice and Fabolous' DJ Boof. Many celebrities and media personalities such as Angela Yee, DJ Clue, Ashley Brinton and Erik Coleman were also in attendance.

New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Reportedly Charged For Soliciting Prostitution In Florida

Owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, is reportedly being accused of two counts of soliciting prostitution in two separate instances at a Florida day spa, CNN reports.

In a recent press conference, Police Chief Daniel Kerr stated that Kraft’s charges stem from two separate visits he made to the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Fla. However, a spokesperson for the NFL team denied all the charges against Kraft. "We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further," the organization said.

Local authorities still confirm that the accusation is in conjunction with recent events that have taken place at the establishment, which also accused 20 other people of the same crime. According to Kerr, there is video evidence. The authorities involved in the crackdown revealed they wore body cameras during the operation.

Additionally, the police were involved in constant surveillance of the location. Authorities said they're not planning to release any video footage or documented evidence as of yet.

Kraft has been the owner of the Patriots since 1994. Further details for this story are pending.
